Orbs

A photographed anomaly thought to be a form of spirit energy, which appears as a ball of light. Orbs are very controversial because they
can also be explained as dust, snow, rain, insects and other possible causes. Because of this, most paranormal investigators do not
commit to orbs as being "proof" of paranormal activity.

Ouija Board

A board that has alphabetical letters, numbers and words and used with a planchette to communicate with spirits. It is believed that
negative energy forces use this device as a "portal" or doorway to come through. People who have used a Ouija board have expressed
unpleasant experiences with it, and most investigators will not use it.

Out of Body Experience (OBE)

A sensation or experience in which ones spirit travels to a different location. Patients being operated on have reported looking down at their
physical self. Also see Astral Projection.
