ParaNexus - Tampa Conference Oct 23-26, 2008
This is what the website has to say: "Mark your calendar now for one of the most unbelievable weekends you’ll ever
experience in the world of Paranormal Research and Investigation at the ParaNexus Tampa 2008 Conference. Your
schedule will be filled with opportunities to gather mind boggling information and fantastic ideas from some of the top
paranormal minds this country has to offer.
Don’t expect big names; expect GREAT things. You will get information you can use and share—not an autograph you
can’t
use from paranormal television programs. You’re coming to Tampa to meet people like yourself who have years of
experience and insight; carefully selected; competent paranormal researchers and investigators direct from the trenches; ALL leaders in the field, ready, willing, and able to share the
best techniques and advice they can offer that will enhance your investigation skills, knowledge, and techniques regarding our passion in this fascinating and evolving field of
science!"
I cannot tell where this event is going to be located at exactly. But on the website there is information on accommodations at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel. Conference rooms are
spoken about on their schedule, so I'm assuming that's where it will take place. For more information on this event, please contact ParaNexus for complete details.

Univ-Con 7 - The Undiscovered Country - September 11-14, 2008
Over the past six years, our conference has become an experience that many attendees return for. It’s a place where new ideas are presented, new friends are made and
new blood is discovered. It’s also a conference that has grown year after a year, creating new challenges for us.

We throw UNIV-CON because we care about paranormal investigation. The one thing we strive to do is offer every viewpoint imaginable. Not just covering topics from UFOs to demonology, but the
methods of investigation and culture, too. Nobody has the answers in this field, but many claim to.
UNIV-CON’s ultimate goal is education, which is why this year we are pleased to announce that we’ll be offering grants and scholarships. We feel that it is important to take this direction because, at the
current moment, true research and education in this field is few and far in between. Academic institutes that study paranormal phenomenon are dropping at an alarming rate. In America, there are less
than a handful of these organizations still in existence. At the same time, interest in the paranormal continues to rise in the media through television, movies, and online.
“Paranormal State” is just a piece of PRS. It covers a part of our investigations and goals. UNIV-CON has been around since 2002 and the goals of this conference are very dear to those of us who throw
it. More importantly, we’ve begun to realize that UNIV-CON is important to many others.
Join us this year for UNIV-CON SEVEN: THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY
A Victorian Haunting Experience - October 25, 2008
The Victorian age was the era of spiritual awakening where people spent hours debating with others, along with themselves, on alternative beliefs. One alternative belief became
