UFO Captured On Cell Phone

Is it a UFO? Can't say for sure. But truck driver Sean Kiel said he photographed an unidentified flying object with his cellphone as he drove
along Interstate 20 near Cisco on Jan. 8. Cisco is about 45 miles northwest of Stephenville, KY., where dozens of people have reported seeing UFOs.

"It looked like a meteor entering the atmosphere," said Kiel, who was driving from Louisville, Ky., to Brady. "It looked like a fireball. It had a long tail and it was extremely bright. And then the light seemed to
dissipate and there was a dark object, right when the sun was going down.

"It was more like a big cigar with lights all over it that changed colors," he said. "It was at least 300 yards wide. It was being escorted by some type of slow-moving military craft, maybe helicopters."

Did NASA capture a door on Mars?

There is a strange door-like structure at the base of the mountain formation from a NASA image of Mars that is causing a stir. The first
person to notice it wasn't a NASA scientist, however, but rather a Russian reader of the portal R and D.Cnews, Alexander Novgorodov.
Taking a closer look at an image taken by the spacecraft Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, he noticed an unusual morphology, which
looks strikingly like a man made doorway.

Of course, the object's intriguing form does not denote the presence of a real doorway, nor would it imply that the mountain formation is
of artificial origin.
That would make an incredible story indeed, but the likely cause it boring old weather erosion. However, the peculiarities are of interest due to their unique morphology. The
unusual teardrop mountain formation, which likely resulted from some sort of weathering, is located amid Mar's frozen ocean region. A planet of extremes, Mars is home to the
largest mountain in the solar system, the largest canyon in the solar system and intensely severe dust storms. It is also home to the only other likely option for humans to live
within our Solar System.

According to astrophysicist Charlie Lineweaver of Australian National University, "ever since the first telescope was invented and we learnt that there are other worlds out there,
people have dreamed of going to them. Of course we now know that Mars is the only other planet in the solar system you’d want to set foot on."

Alarming Comet Swarm Warns Of Catastrophic Christmas Quake

The Haunting

By WES "THE SPECTER" SMALLING
Star-Tribune staff writer Monday, October 15, 2007

SHERIDAN -- A pocket of cold air hits you, standing up the hairs on the back of your neck. Doors lock on their own. A light shines in the window of a room that has no electricity. The smell of a lady's
perfume mysteriously appears and disappears in certain hallways.

Encounters with the ghost of "Miss Kate" at the Sheridan Inn are too many to count. Some say she's still keeping watch over the historic hotel that was her beloved home for 64 years.

Della Herbst is a board member of the Sheridan Heritage Center, which is restoring the old hotel. Since she became involved with the Inn's restoration in 1990, she's had plenty of run-ins with the spirit of
Catherine B. Arnold, affectionately called Miss Kate by those who have come to know her. Herbst said she definitely feels Miss Kate's presence at the hotel.

Giant Scorpion of the Sea Discovered
By: Chee Chee Leung

The discovery of a giant claw from an ancient sea scorpion suggests creepy crawlies such as spiders could have been much larger than previously thought.

The prehistoric pincer, found in a quarry in Germany, was 46 centimetres long, which means the creature it came from probably stretched to 2.5 metres.

That is almost half a metre longer than previous estimates for this sea beast, making it the largest arthropod that ever lived.

"This is an amazing discovery," said researcher Dr Simon Braddy, of the University of Bristol's department of earth sciences. "We have known for some time that the
fossil record yields monster millipedes, super-sized scorpions, colossal cockroaches and jumbo dragonflies, but we never realised until now just how big some of these
ancient creepy crawlies were."

The 390-million-year-old claw comes from a species of sea scorpion known as Jaekelopterus rhenaniae that lived between 460 and 255 million years ago. Arthropods,
like this ancient monster, are characterised by segmented bodies, jointed limbs and a hard external skeleton, and include insects and crabs.

These sea scorpions are thought to be the aquatic "sisters" of scorpions, and possibly all arachnids, including spiders.

Dozens Claim They Spotted UFO in Texas

Faster than a speeding bullet — and bigger than a Wal-Mart. That's how residents near the west Texas town of Stephenville described an object they spotted in the sky one night last week. Dozens of
people — including a pilot and a police officer — said a UFO hovered over the farming community for about five minutes last Tuesday before streaking away into the night sky.

Pilot Steve Allen saw the object when he was out clearing brush off a hilltop near the town of Selden. Allen described the unidentified object as being an enormous aircraft with flashing strobe lights — and
it was totally silent.

He said the UFO sped away at more than 3,000 mph, followed by two fighter jets that were hopelessly outmaneuvered. Allen said it took the aircraftjust a few seconds to cross a section of sky that it takes
him 20 minutes to fly in his Cessna. The veteran pilot said the UFO, an estimated half-mile wide and a mile long, was "bigger than a Wal-Mart."

Military Dismisses Sighting - The Stephenville Empire-Tribune, which has written about the mysterious object, said about 40 people saw the thing — though some were too sheepish to admit the sighting
until others came forward.
