Do you believe? Roswell wants UFO theme park New Mexico town known for little green visitors plans new
tourist trap

MSNBC-May 27,2007

ROSWELL, N.M. - Businesses here have been cashing in on the UFO craze for years — paintings and replicas
of UFOs and space aliens adorn downtown buildings, and even the McDonald’s and Wal-Mart are UFO- and space-themed.

Now city officials want to take it to another level with a UFO-themed amusement park, complete with an indoor roller coaster
that would take passengers on a simulated alien abduction.

“Nobody will be harmed and everybody will be returned, hopefully, in the same shape,” concept designer Bryan Temmer said
Friday.

Ghostly figure haunts Cochise County Superior Courthouse
David Marino Reports - KVOA NEWS 4-Tucson, AZ
May 24, 2007 12:27 AM CDT

For years, employees at the Cochise County Superior Courthouse have shared stories of a ghost haunting its hallways.  He's known to hang out in his old courtroom, and has even made an appearance in
the old jail, which now serves as a storage area.

One woman got up close and personal with the ghostly figure. Kelly Jarrell says, "I was coming up the stairs doing my normal everyday, oh I gotta go to the jail thing."  But what Kelly Jarrell saw next was
anything but normal.  You could call it more of a paranormal experience.  "I was coming out of the cell with the file in my hand.  When I came out I was right here and I saw the form sitting.  It really
frightened me.  He was sitting, looking straight ahead like a stern grandfather."  Before Kelly could even think, her feet were moving fast, as she ran down two flights of stairs.  Jarrell says, "I locked the
gate and later I'm realizing if it was really a ghost I saw the gate and chain wouldn't keep him in."

So who is the stern grandfather like figure haunting the halls of the Cochise County Courthouse?  Employees believe it is Judge John Ross.  They've seen his shadow scurrying across his old courtroom
and they often smell the smoke from his burning cigar.  Judge Ross was the first judge to work at the courthouse.

Some say his spirit shines on because the judge still believes the courthouse is his home.  Jarrell says, "They had just done re-modeling of the courthouse and put new back doors in downstairs and I
was thinking he was here because they were messing with his house."  These days Kelly won't go up to the old jail by herself.  She's convinced Judge Ross is waiting for the right time to show himself
again.  "There's a reason he's here.  I don't want to know what the reason is, but there's a reason he's here."  Perhaps some secrets are better left unspoken.

BBC NEWS - Northern Ireland Residents spot strange UFO lights

Residents in County Down have raised the possibility of a UFO sighting above the skies of Bangor. Several callers to BBC Northern Ireland have reported a series of strange orange lights in the night sky.
Air traffic control at Belfast International Airport said it had also received reports about the sightings, including one from the Coastguard.

However, the airport said it had no record of any aircraft in the sky at the time. The callers said the sightings had been made on Saturday evening. Clifford Rossbottom from Bangor told the BBC: "There
were three orange globes - nearly in a straight line - they were an absolutely fascinating sight. "I watched them for five minutes, and then very slowly, they just disappeared. "The only thing I thought it
could have been was three high-flying aircraft. "If that is not the case, then I have no idea, and the only other thing I can think of is in fact that they were UFOs."

Scientists claim to discover extra-terrestrial artifacts

India Daily - www.indiadaily.com

Scientists from the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk claim that they have discovered several artefacts with extra-terrestrial inscriptions near the site where of the giant Tunguska meteorite fell in remote part of
Siberia in 1908, reports said.

The president of the Tunguska Space Phenomenon research foundation told reporters that several quartz stone tablets with mysterious inscriptions on them were found in the Tunguska river basin in
2006. "The stones were tested in Krasnoyarsk and Moscow and test results speak for the fact that they are of extra-terrestrial origin," Moskovskie Novosti weekly reported. The stones were covered
with strange signs of artificial origin, presumably made with plasma ray.

Russian researchers suggested a hypothesis that the quartz tablets were parts of an information container delivered to Earth by the extraterrestrial spaceship that crashed in Tunguska region in 1908.

The glow of Tunguska meteorite crash was visible several thousand kilometres away in St Petersburg, but  years later when the researchers reached the dense Taiga forest area they could not find the
core of meteor although trees over a huge were lying in circular pattern around the crater where it had exploded.

The Russian  researcher also said that scientists from the United States, Britain,  France and Germany have requested the newly-found artefacts for research, but Russians want to be the first people to
decode the message from another civilization.
